Small Update

Nothing too special. I've just added a page with links to some shopping services (with a little more focus on in-store ones).

Despite being inactive for a while, I've managed to hit 100 followers! Many thanks to my readers :)

Giveaways seem to be the cool thing to do for bloggers who have hit a milestone so I might do just that. I'd like to hold a contest of some sort too so I'll have to formulate one and get back to you on that. Keep your eyes peeled!

This Year in Lolita So Far Part 2: Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Innocent World

I can't believe it's already February! With spring inching closer and closer, brands have been pumping out items from their spring collection for all to "ooh" and "ahh" at. As a follow up to Part 1, this post will be focussing (as the title of the blog post says) on two other major lolita brands: Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Innocent World.

Longer Petticoats for Longer Things

As many of you know, lolita dresses and skirts weren't all created equal. Length-wise, classic brands generally look favourably upon longer pieces though there have been a couple of exceptions (such as Alice and the Pirate's Hymn print jumperskirt).

So if you plan on buying an item that's longer than your average lolita skirt/dress, it is most definitely worth considering purchasing a petticoat that is better catered to its length.

This Year in Lolita So Far: Angelic Pretty and Metamorphose

With a month and a half until spring (at least in the northern hemisphere), a few lolita brands are already showing off bits of their collection for the season to come. Here are some highlights I've picked out of what we've got so far!

HSP Q&A: Meet-up Tips

Apologies for the long delay in the answering this question. I wanted to get the Japonica guide out of the way before I answered this one (which admittedly also took a while for me to get around to writing up). An anon on Tumblr asked me:

Can you share any tips for arranging a meet-up? What should I do about people who are late? How should the tip be split (if we are in a restaurant)? What should I anticipate?

Japonica Market Web Store Service

Japonica Market is a shopping service specialises in web store shopping, Yahoo! Auctions Japan bidding and Mbok bidding. In today's post will be focussed on what you can expect if you plan to make purchases from an online store through Japonica Market. I think that the information below is more or less targeted towards shopping service newbies and those considering using Japonica Market.

I will be using screenshots from an Angelic Pretty order I made through Japonica Market in July.
